Most Likely To is the party game where someone reads a prompt, everyone counts to three, and the whole group points at the person who fits it best. Whoever gets the most fingers is “most likely to,” and then they get to explain themselves. This page is a free Most Likely To game and a full list of 180 questions in one. Tap Next for a new prompt, tap 3-2-1 Point! for the countdown, and press Present to put it on a TV. There’s nothing to install and no sign-up. Playing with a big group?Put all 180 questions on a TV, projector or smart board with giant text and a 3-2-1 countdown. Works with a presentation clicker.
What is the Most Likely To game?
Most Likely To is a pointing game about the people in the room. There’s no board, nothing to buy and almost nothing to learn. Someone reads a prompt like “Who’s most likely to adopt a dog without telling anyone first?”, everyone points on three, and the group finds out how it sees each other. The best part comes right after the pointing: the person who got picked protests, someone tells the story that proves it, and the room is laughing before the next card.
Every prompt is about someone sitting in the room, so the answers come with evidence attached: the time they did exactly that, last summer, in front of everyone. Good prompts mix compliments with gentle teasing. Who’s most likely to learn a whole song on the ukulele for someone’s birthday? Who’s most likely to read the last page of a book first? That mix is what makes getting picked feel like being noticed, not being mocked.
The 180 questions on this page are grouped by theme: Everyday life, The future, Best friends, Travel & adventure, Food, Party & game night, Phones & social and Main character. The game deals them in a fresh random order every visit, and the counter under the card shows how far through the deck you are. When you reach the end, shuffle again or jump to another list.
Most Likely To rules, step by step
- Sit where everyone can see each other. A circle works best. Pointing only counts if people can tell who is being pointed at.
- Choose a reader. They read the prompt aloud, word for word. Pass the phone, and the job, to the left every few rounds.
- Count down together. Tap 3-2-1 Point! and the card counts down for you. Nobody points early, and nobody moves their finger after “Point!”.
- Everyone points. Pick the person who fits best. Pointing at yourself is fair game, and honest self-pointers usually get the biggest laugh.
- Count the fingers. The person with the most is “most likely to.” They get a short chance to defend themselves, or to admit it.
- Next card. Keep the pace up. The best rounds take less than a minute.
Ties happen a lot in small groups. Three easy fixes: both players share the title, everyone except the tied players points again, or the reader breaks the tie. Agree on one rule before you start so nobody argues about it later. Arguing about the prompt itself is encouraged.
The classic game has no score. It’s about the conversation, not about winning. If your group likes a winner anyway, the next section shows how to keep score without pen and paper.
Keep score and hand out awards
Tap Add players near the card and type in everyone’s names, from 2 to 16 players. The game plays the same as before. The only change is a row of name buttons under the card, asking “Who got the most fingers?” After each countdown, tap the name of the person the group picked, or tap Tie / skip if nobody clearly won.
Tapped the wrong name? Go Back and tap the right one. The new pick replaces the old one, so nothing gets counted twice.
Tap the Awards button (the trophy at the end of the name row) whenever you like. The awards also appear on their own when you reach the end of the deck. The awards screen ranks everyone by how many prompts they “won,” lists the titles each person collected, and crowns one champion who is most likely to… everything. Tap Copy results to paste the whole list into your group chat, Keep playing to carry on, or New game to clear the scores and keep the names.
Player names never leave your device. They’re saved in your browser so you don’t have to type them again next time, and the scores last until you close the tab. Nobody needs an account.
What makes a good Most Likely To question?
Want to add a few prompts of your own between rounds? These rules help a prompt land:
- Make it specific. “Most likely to be late” is fine. “Most likely to get lost on the way to their own birthday dinner” paints a picture and gets a story.
- Stick to harmless habits. Snacks, phones, travel quirks, dramatic sighs. Leave out looks, weight, money, relationships and anything a person can’t change.
- Mix in compliments. About half of your prompts should be things people would be glad to be picked for: inventing something useful, giving the best advice, throwing the best birthday party.
- Fit the room. A prompt that’s hilarious with old friends can sting with people you just met. New groups and coworkers do best with flattering, light prompts.
- Keep it short. If the prompt needs an explanation, it’s too long. One breath is the limit.
The funniest most likely to questions come from tiny moments everyone recognizes. Talking to the dog in a special voice. Rehearsing a coffee order in line and still getting it wrong. Starting a sentence with “fun fact” when the fact is not fun. The more ordinary the moment, the louder the room gets when the finger lands on someone.
Most Likely To questions for every group
The list on this page is the all-round mix for friends and parties. Playing with a different crowd? Each of these lists is written for its own audience:
- Most likely to questions for couples: the two-player “who’s more likely to” version, sweet and funny, for date night or a couples game night.
- Most likely to questions for family: kid-safe prompts for dinners, reunions and road trips.
- Most likely to questions for work: work-safe icebreakers for meetings and team building.
- Most likely to questions for kids: simple, positive prompts for classrooms and birthday parties.
- Christmas most likely to questions: festive prompts for holiday parties, office parties and family gatherings.
Want a round where nobody gets singled out? This or That and Would You Rather play on the same kind of big card, but everyone picks one of two options for themselves and sees how their pick compares.
Play on a TV, a projector or a video call
For a party, open the page on a laptop connected to the TV and press Present, or the P key. The prompt fills the screen in huge letters, so nobody has to crowd around a phone. A presentation clicker works too: Page Down for the next prompt and Page Up to go back. On a keyboard, → or Space moves on, ← goes back and C starts the countdown. On a phone or tablet, swipe the card.
On Zoom, Teams or Google Meet, pointing doesn’t work, because everyone sees a different grid of faces. Share your screen with the game in Present mode and read the prompt. Everyone types a name in the chat but doesn’t send it yet. Start the countdown, and on “Point!” everyone presses Enter at the same moment. For an anonymous round, players send their pick to the host in a private message and the host announces only the winner. If people see a black screen once you go full screen, share your whole screen instead of a single window.
Playing in a group chat instead? Press Copy link and paste it into the thread. The link opens straight on that prompt, and everyone replies with a name.
Ways to mix up the game
- Explain yourself. After the count, the picked person gets one sentence to defend themselves, and one pointer gets one sentence of evidence. Short and sharp, and it stops a single debate from eating the whole night.
- Call it first. Before the countdown, the reader predicts who will get the most fingers. A correct call earns a point. After a few rounds you find out who reads the room best.
- Team version. Split into two teams. Before each countdown, the reading team huddles and predicts who the other team will point at. Then the other team points. A correct prediction scores a point, and the first team to five wins.
- Write it down. Everyone writes a name on a scrap of paper or types it on their phone, and the reader reveals the answers one by one. Great for big groups and shy players, because nobody sees who picked whom.
- Lightning round. Ten prompts, no explanations, as fast as the countdown allows. It wakes up a quiet room in two minutes.
- Theme night. Use the theme filter to stick to one topic: only The future at a going-away party, or only Travel & adventure the night before a group trip.
Keep it fun for whoever gets picked
Most Likely To puts one person in the spotlight every round, so a little care goes a long way.
- Skip freely. If a prompt touches a sore spot for anyone in the room, tap Next. Nobody needs to give a reason.
- Spread it around. If the same person gets picked three rounds in a row, switch to a flattering theme or a lightning round.
- Laugh with, not at. The picked person decides how much of the story gets told.
- End on a compliment. Finish with a few big-dream prompts so everyone leaves on a high.
- No drinking needed. Some groups play Most Likely To as a drinking game. This version doesn’t need it: every prompt here is alcohol-free and party-safe, and the fun is in the pointing.
Questions people ask
How do you play Most Likely To?
One person reads a prompt that starts with “Who’s most likely to…”. Everyone counts down from three and, on “Point!”, points at the person in the group who fits best. The person with the most fingers on them is “most likely to” and gets a moment to explain. Then read the next prompt. On this page, tap 3-2-1 Point! and the card runs the countdown for you.
What are good Most Likely To questions for friends?
The best ones are about harmless habits and big dreams your friends will recognize. From the list on this page: who’s most likely to reply “on my way” while still in bed? Hype up a friend like a sports announcer? Keep a secret even when bribed with dessert? Thank everyone here in an award speech? Mix flattering prompts with gentle teasing, and save the Best friends theme for friends who know each other’s stories.
What are some funny Most Likely To questions?
Funny prompts are small, specific and easy to picture. A few from the Everyday life theme: who’s most likely to apologize to a chair after bumping into it? Hold a grudge against a vending machine? Wave back at someone waving at someone else? Pick Everyday life in the theme filter to play just those.
How many people do you need to play Most Likely To?
Three or more, and it’s at its best with 4 to 10 people. With just two, play the “who’s more likely to” version on the couples page. For groups larger than 15, try the write-it-down version or split into teams. The optional score mode takes 2 to 16 player names.
What happens if there’s a tie in Most Likely To?
Pick a tie rule before you start. The tied players can share the title, everyone except the tied players can point again, or the reader can break the tie. If you’re keeping score on this page, tap the winner of the tiebreak, or tap Tie / skip so nobody gets the point.
Can you play Most Likely To on Zoom or on a TV?
Yes. On a TV or projector, press Present for one prompt at a time in huge letters; a presentation clicker works with it. On Zoom or another video call, share your screen, have everyone type a name in the chat without sending it, and on “Point!” everyone presses Enter at once. No one needs an account or an app.
Is Most Likely To a drinking game?
It doesn’t have to be. Some groups add drinks, but the game itself is just a prompt, a countdown and a lot of pointing. Every prompt on this page is free of alcohol and adult topics, so the same game works at a birthday party, a sleepover or a team lunch.
